Can you spot a trend here that I love watching videos that show the full process of renovating something old? Tokyo Llame does exactly that but this time around we’re in Japan and it’s an abandoned farmhouse or kominka. After watching his videos I fell even more in love with the architectural design of these houses—apparently there’s not a nail involved when they build these! Prepare for some up-close shots and long time-lapse sections as this house is brought into the modern era—it goes to show just how much time and elbow grease is needed if you’re willing to go for it.
